“ Food is always delicious, but as usual, I did not take photos. We ordered the Parrillada Combinada with 1 extra plate. It fed 3 adults and we all took home leftovers. So definitely worth the price. My son got chicken strips and fries and sodas for beverages along with 1 Tequila Sunrise. ”
“ My wife and I stopped in for dinner while passing through the area. We didn't have any idea what to expect but we were very impressed. The service was very good and the food was wonderful. All the staff was very friendly. Our drinks were refilled regularly. The salsa was flavorful in addition to the addictive spicy kick. (I ate three bowls of it!) My burrito and my wife's Pollo Zamora (chcken with chimchurri sauce) reminded us of the many authentic Mexican restaurants we enjoyed when we lived in southern Colorado. “ We started with chips and salsa. It came out with 2 kinds of salsa. One was chunky and smokey. The other one was smooth and not as smokey. Neither one was spicy. I had 3 tacos. 1 ground beef, 1 chicken, and 1 chorizo all with onions and cilantro. Each taco was tasty and went well with the horchata I ordered. My wife had the chicken sopes with a side of avocado. She was very happy that the chicken was moist and flavorful. She said that extra avocado was worth getting. We hope to come back the next time we visit Janesville. ”
“ So I am newer to Janesville and love carne asada tacos done right and El Jardin delivers! I tried almost every other Mexican restaurant and trucks and by far El Jardin is my go to for tacos. They are perfectly seasoned and their green hot sauce is devine! Most places I tried here add too much salt to their meat. Which overpowers the dish and often goes unfinished. Not their tacos. I do takeout here weekly, friendly people, fast service. Recommeneded. ”

The salsa they give you with the chips is so fresh tasting, I was stuffed full and still insisted on getting the remnants of that goodness gobbled up. My husband got fajitas and they made quite the show! Check out that steam! Very friendly staff as well, quick to clean up any finished dishes. ”
